Come nella scorsa edizione il concorso di quest’anno “Noi e gli altri” sarà suddiviso in Sezione Flashfumetto.it e Sezione Yoda (con workshop il 9 e 10 gennaio). Gli elaborati migliori di entrambe le sezioni verranno esposti in una mostra collettiva all’interno della VII edizione di BilBOlBul – Festival Internazionale di Fumetto che si terrà a Bologna dal 21 al 24 febbraio 2013 a cui seguirà la pubblicazione di un libro-catalogo.
L’inaugurazione si terrà giovedì 21 febbraio all’Auditorium Biagi della Biblioteca Salaborsa, verranno premiati i vincitori per entrambe le sezioni del concorso. La premiazione dei vincitori del concorso “Noi e gli altri” sarà preceduta dalla presentazione del volume “Perdersi a…Esplorazioni urbane a fumetti” a cura di Kappa Edizioni, che raccoglie il meglio delle opere selezionate nella scorsa edizione del concorso Flashfumetto.
Saranno presenti: Beatrice Draghetti, Presidente della Provincia di Bologna, Doriana Bortolini del Progetto Giovani del Comune di Bologna, Edo Chieregato dell’Associazione Hamelin, Pierluigi Musarò dell’Associazione Yoda e Leonardo Tancredi dell’Associazione Piazza Grande. Saranno inoltre presenti i membri della giuria Andrea Baricordi, Keiko Ichiguchi, Elena Orlandi e Alessandro Tota.
Tema comune a entrambe le sezioni
È attraverso gli altri che possiamo riconoscerci e definire noi stessi. “Noi” e “altri” sono parole intercambiabili che si riposizionano continuamente l’una nei confronti dell’altra. L’incontro con ciò che percepiamo altro rispetto a noi è anche una messa in discussione di noi stessi e può aprirsi agli esiti più imprevisti. Quando la percezione dell’alterità – di un’alterità che non sappiamo decifrare – diventa soverchiante e diffusa, ci sentiamo stranieri, la comunicazione con l’esterno diventa problematica e, in maniera e misura imprevedibili, cambia anche la percezione di noi stessi.
Si chiede ai partecipanti di raccontare un’esperienza di straniamento, declinandola a proprio piacimento ma utilizzando una situazione fissa, che può essere inserita all’inizio, alla fine o nel corso del racconto: “Salgo sull’autobus, mi siedo e tutti cominciano a guardarmi con insistenza, come se avessi, o fossi, qualcosa di strano…” Il racconto che si costruisce attorno a questo piccolo evento può essere realistico o fantastico, comico o drammatico, e dovrebbe portare a riflettere su cosa consideriamo “altro da noi” e su come immaginiamo di reagire alla sensazione di sentirci noi, anche solo per un attimo, l’altro. (la medesima situazione si può proporre anche con riferimento all’entrata in un piccolo bar o in un ascensore.)

Requisiti di partecipazione: tutti i giovani artisti dai 18 ai 35 anni residenti o domiciliati nella provincia di Bologna. Per accedere alla sezione Yoda e ai relativi premi è necessario partecipare a un workshop.
Il workshop, curato dall’Associazione Yoda, si è tenuto a Bologna il 9 e 10 gennaio 2013 ed è stato propedeutico per la realizzazione dell’opera per il concorso.

L’Artista come straniero: l’artista spesso è portatore di uno sguardo altro, uno sguardo che spezza le abitudini percettive. Attraverso esempi presi dalla letteratura e dalla pittura, si ragionerà con i partecipanti sui diversi meccanismi strutturali con cui il dispositivo dello straniamento funziona sia nell’arte che nella vita di tutti i giorni.

Un incontro in cui riflettere sull’ideazione, la creazione e lo sviluppo della storia a fumetti attraverso un confronto individuale e di gruppo. Spunti e modalità di sviluppo del soggetto e dei layout delle tavole attraverso esempi di pubblicazioni esistenti.

– Tutte le opere pervenute saranno pubblicate in una sezione dedicata del portale www.flashfumetto.it ed entreranno a far parte delle banche dati del sito, mentre una selezione sarà esposta nell’omonima mostra all’interno della VII edizione di BilBOlbul – Festival Internazionale di Fumetto.
– Il vincitore verrà pubblicato sul giornale Piazza Grande.
– Una selezione delle opere sarà pubblicata in una pubblicazione dedicata.
– I primi tre classificati avranno la possibilità di partecipare ad un viaggio di 2 settimane in Mozambico nel mese di giugno o luglio 2013 nell’ambito di un progetto di scambio attivo dal 2006 promosso dall’Associazione Yoda e dalla Provincia di Bologna; ai vincitori verranno garantite le spese di volo internazionale e alloggio. I tre vincitori, seguiti da un accompagnatore dell’Associazione YODA, durante il viaggio a Maputo potranno partecipare ad attività di scambio con artisti locali, visitare luoghi d’arte e realizzare una storia a fumetti o carnet di viaggio inerente la loro esperienza che sarà inclusa in una pubblicazione dedicata.

Requisiti di partecipazione: Possono partecipare tutti i giovani artisti dai 15 ai 35 anni. Sono ammesse collaborazioni tra due o più autori.
