Il concorso è suddiviso in due sezioni: Flashfumetto e Yoda.
Gli elaborati migliori di entrambe le sezioni verranno esposti in una mostra collettiva all’interno della IX edizione di BilBOlBul – Festival Internazionale di Fumetto che si terrà a Bologna dal 19 al 22 novembre 2015, a cui seguirà la pubblicazione del catalogo.
TEMA COMUNE A ENTRAMBE LE SEZIONI
Chi non ha mai sognato di avere un superpotere? Chi non lo sogna ancora oggi? Volare, teletrasportarsi, leggere nella mente, diventare invisibili… Siamo cresciuti (e siamo ancora) circondati dalle storie di semidivinità scese in terra a combattere le proprie battaglie e di uomini e donne valorosi che usano le proprie capacità speciali per salvare il mondo. Capacità innate, o ricevute in dono, o conseguite in seguito a un incidente, ma pur sempre capacità determinanti, magniloquenti, esagerate.
Ma cosa succederebbe se entrassimo in possesso di un superpotere che non è tanto super? Che sembra non servire quasi a niente? Se avessimo ad esempio il dono di sapere sempre l’ora esatta? Di saper sciogliere tutti i nodi? Di trasformare l’acqua naturale in frizzante? Di riconoscere con esattezza la gradazione di bianco di un muro? Di secernere sabbia dalla pelle al posto del sudore?
Riusciremmo a usarlo per fare qualcosa di buono? Se non per la collettività, almeno per noi stessi? O lo vivremmo come una maledizione, pure un po’ stupida e insensata? Ci sentiremmo una vocazione da (quasi) eroi, o ci uniremmo, per quanto possibile rispetto al nostro “dono”, alle forze del male?
Vi chiediamo di realizzare una storia in cui il/la protagonista si confronti con questa situazione: dopo esservi sbizzarriti a pensare/creare/inventare il “potere” più originale (e all’apparenza inutile) possibile potete riflettere su come, e quanto, una circostanza simile modifichi (oppure no?) una vita normale, e come possa essere sfruttata o rinnegata. Ci teniamo però che non sia una storia sul come e perché dell’ottenimento di un “dono”, quanto su come il “dono” influisca sulla vita vera e alteri la nostra esistenza quotidiana (magari creandone una nuova), e come venga usato attivamente.
A voi la scelta del tono e dello stile: si può essere tragici, comici, realistici, grotteschi, surreali, drammatici. Come la vita, in fondo.
Il concorso, destinato a giovani fumettisti e illustratori under 35, residenti in Italia, è suddiviso in due sezioni: Flashfumetto e Yoda. Gli interessati possono partecipare a entrambe le sezioni, ma con lavori diversi.
SEZIONE FLASHFUMETTO
Aperta ai giovani creativi dai 15 ai 35 anni con residenza anagrafica in Italia. Sono ammesse collaborazioni tra due o più autori.

Flashfumetto rinnova per il quarto anno la collaborazione con la Regione Aquitania (Francia) gemellata con la Regione Emilia-Romagna: tra i partecipanti al concorso sarà selezionato un autore che vive, studia o lavora nel territorio della regione Emilia Romagna, che abbia già un’opera di fumetto o di letteratura illustrata pubblicata e un nuovo progetto in cantiere, per una residenza artistica di creazione a Bordeaux presso Écla – écrit cinéma livre audiovisuel.
SEZIONE YODA
Aperta ai giovani creativi dai 18 ai 35 anni con residenza anagrafica in Italia.
Premio
I primi classificati avranno la possibilità di partecipare a un viaggio di 2 settimane in Mozambico, nell’ambito di un progetto di scambio attivo dal 2006, promosso dall’Associazione Yoda. Ai vincitori verranno garantite le spese di volo internazionale, visto e assicurazione, oltre alla presenza di un accompagnatore dell’Associazione Yoda. Il programma prevede la partecipazione ad attività di scambio con artisti locali presso la scuola ENAV (Escola Nacional de Artes Visuais) di Maputo, la visita a luoghi d’arte e la realizzazione di una storia a fumetti o carnet di viaggio inerente la loro esperienza, che sarà inclusa in una pubblicazione dedicata.
PER TUTTI I PARTECIPANTI
Tutte le opere pervenute saranno pubblicate sul portale flashfumetto.it ed entreranno a far parte delle banche dati del sito, mentre una selezione sarà esposta nell’omonima mostra all’interno della IX edizione di BilBOlbul – Festival Internazionale di Fumetto. Inoltre una selezione delle opere sarà pubblicata nel catalogo della mostra.
Requisiti tecnici per entrambe le sezioni
Ogni fumetto dovrà essere composto da un minimo di 2 a un massimo di 4 tavole.
Le tavole dovranno essere in formato di stampa A4 (210×297 mm), con il lato più lungo come altezza.
Tutte le tavole dovranno essere inviate in formato TIFF o PDF a 450 dpi e in JPG a 72 dpi in RGB per il web, nominando i file nel seguente modo: nome_cognome_titolo_tavolanumero.
Non esistono limiti di tecnica. L’opera potrà essere realizzata con tutte le tecniche disponibili: disegno tradizionale, grafica, fotografia, o ancora tramite illustrazioni o qualsiasi altra modalità narrativa e tecnica preferita.
Unitamente agli elaborati si dovranno allegare:
la fotocopia di documento d’identità valido del partecipante o dei partecipanti
il modulo d’iscrizione relativo alla sezione di concorso scelta, debitamente compilato in tutte le sue parti e firmato.
NB: le due sezioni hanno due moduli diversi.
La spedizione del materiale potrà avvenire con le seguenti modalità:

Il termine per la consegna delle opere è insindacabilmente entro le ore 23.59 di lunedì 26 ottobre 2015.
La selezione delle opere per la premiazione verrà effettuata da una giuria composta da esperti, autori e studiosi, il cui giudizio sarà insindacabile. La composizione della giuria verrà resa nota in seguito sul portale flashfumetto.it.
